L.A. Wine Fest
May 27, 2015
It’s springtime in L.A. again, and that means it’s the time of year when you have to ask yourself one important question: how many thimble-sized glasses of wine can you drink in an afternoon? This weekend you’ll have a chance to wager an answer, and perhaps even surprise yourself in the process. The 2015 L.A. Wine Fest in Hollywood will host hundreds of varieties from around the world – along with food trucks, merch and boutique wine garden to boot! While the Wine Garden does require a separate ticket (which are limited to about 400 a day), it promises to treat the less thrifty connoisseurs to exclusive tastings from a dozen boutique wineries – including some rather hard to find limited vintages. So cast your vote for the popular choice award and brush up on your tasting notes with some the city’s most astute sommeliers.
May 30-31, 1-5pm, Raleigh Studios, 5300 Melrose Ave., $45-$85
